How to Wear Mom Jeans

The other day I went thrifting to score some great mom jeans I could make into some shorts. About 90% of the time I leave empty handed and slightly disappointed, but when I saw these babies peaking out of the vests section, I pounced. It is always very hard to find mom jeans that fit both my waist and my hips but I managed to find this beaut that fits my waist and had a bit of room for my hips! They definitely have that "boyfriend" jean look to them, which scared me a little because I have never styled boyfriend jeans before until now. Needless to say, I am in love. The comfort of these jeans are going to be hard to pass up in the future (I'm also too in love to cut them!).

Another thing I got as a deal was the gold detailed crop top which I saw in the sale section of a Nasty Gal down in Santa Monica. I loved this top. I didn't care if it was 40-50$ because it was absolutely beautiful. When I looked at the price, I was extremely overjoyed that it was only 20$ and even more ecstatic when it rang up 12$. This just goes to show that an item doesn't necessarily have to be expensive to be a quality or most favorited item.

Goodbye Chicago

Recently I was able to visit Chicago to celebrate my 21st birthday. I was definitely not used to the heat and humidity which reflected on my wardrobe tremendously. Half the time I didn't even know what to wear! Because of that, I stuck with the basics and unfortunately wasn't able to shoot anything special. I figured I'd try to a little shoot before heading to the airport so you guys can at least see my Tuk Cloudscapes! I've been eyeing these bad boys for awhile and figured this would be the perfect trip to bust them out. Let me know what you think of my odd, yet super comfortable travel attire!

School's Out For Summer

I went thrift shopping in LA to find some things to add to my shop and managed to find some pretty great stuff! Normally, I'm not very lucky with my finds but I've learned to really be patient with thrifting and have been rewarded for it with some things you guys will really like!

I also have been really lucky with online shops too. I am never one to buy something full price... EVER. Same goes with this purse I managed to find for HALF the price with a coupon code on a different site. I will look for every possible site with the same/similar items and scavage across the internet for coupon codes until I'm able to pay the lowest possible price. I admit, I am a shopaholic but with an addiction like mine, you really do need to find ways to get the most out of your money. Stay tuned for a guide on that as well.
