I seem to have acquired a new hair bow obsession recently but I figured that instead of buying every bow I ever want, that I should just make them myself! That way I can fully customize the look I want of each of my bows. I also figured, if I love bows... clearly others do too, so I started selling my bows to my friends and family! :) I'm hoping that if all goes well, I can start selling them online to others as well. So far, I only have 5 different models out and I'm hoping for positive feedback!
Unfortunately, you can't really see the details of the pink bow, but I'll be sure to update with some close ups soon!
Random Cute Things Pt 1
I had some pretty features in my room (these are before the new bookshelf I installed) that I thought really made my room, adding a girly touch here and there
Since my walls are a purple grey, there really is no color to brighten the room, so I have to make up for it through decoration! So it basically is a bouquet of fake (but beautiful) flowers in a glass milk bottle atop my stack of Nylon magazines. It is a small piece but I absolutely loved it! This was my sisters creation and decided to take it with her once she moved out a couple days ago! None the less it was nice while it lasted!
Red Velvet
This isn't normally how I would style this dress, with a pop of brown every now and then, but it's freaking hot here and I need as little on as possible! It's super comfy and casual!

The Speed of Sound in Seawater
The Speed of Sound in Seawater, or "Speed", has been a recurring favorite in my town as they come to play shows in and around Bakersfield quite a lot. After playing a small house show a couple years back, they quickly became a favorite of mine and have been a steady listener ever since.
Located near the bay area resides the bands 4 members, Damien, Luke, Fernando and Jordan. They are quickly on the rise with an increasing fan base and constant shows all over the US.
They also released a new album labeled "First Contact" (which I quickly then purchased) a couple days ago and LOVED the new sound they all have created. It has almost a tropical/ math rockesque feel (you have to just listen to understand) and I haven't really stopped listening to it since I first heard the album!
Do the band a favor and check their bandcamp out here: The Speed of Sound in Seawater

Sunny Outing with the Boyfriend
Since both Justin and I recently got new clothes, we kinda wanted to show them off by going out and about! We went to Riverwalk park by the river and had a cute little picnic while we people watched and chatted and decided it'd be ideal to get ourselves some library cards and go get a couple books at the library down the road. Needless to say, we are on a reading kick and I for sure and glad to be reading again! I miss how quickly time passes when you are deeply involved in a good book!

Paisley Scarf Inspired Outfit
My sister moved to San Francisco awhile back and with that, she had to leave a bunch of things she either never really used or simply didn't want, at home. I found this pretty purple paisley scarf in the bunch of clothes and swooped! Since it's too hot to actually wear this as a scarf, I decided to do something a little bit different and used it as a head wrap! (Since my roots are getting pretty bad, its a good excuse to cover them up!)
